Can TV (Tower) Speakers work with my computer?

I have a 7.1 sound system card and Im basicly obsest with getting better speakers. I get speakers at least once every 2-3months for my computer and I got about 2 months ago surround speakers from Logitec. But of course I would prefer tower over surround because you can get surround tower but Im not sure if itll work with my PC (Windows 7)

i am not an expert, but i doubt that a pc has the amps or the wattage to push the speakers you want.
